In exchange 2010 DAG ,when trying to do eseutil /d on  journaling DB it shows error as operation terminated with error -1022 (JET_errdiskIO,Disk IO error) after 2.453 seconds

Database is in clean shut down state and passive copy is healthy

D:\MS Exchange Server\v14\Bin>eseutil /d "F:\MS Exchange Server\v14\Mailbox\Journaling DB\Journaling DB.edb" /t\\L:\Journaling852015

Journaling852015 is having a good free space more than 110% of Journaling DB

Please suggest on this.

It looks the Database is corrupted.

Try to repair the database.

Eseutil.exe /P

Thanks for the suggestion ,I tried to run eseutil /p but it prompted that the db should only be repaired if it is corrupted ,and the db is in clean shut down.

Please suggest.

This Disk Error might occurred  because of database corruption.

FYI: If the DB is in clean shutdown means all the log files are played into the DB. There is no relation between clean shutdown and Database corruption.

we can run /p switch if any log files are missing(if dirty shutdown) also.

Take a copy of the .edb file before using /p, there might be data loss depends on level of corruption.
